I am now a relief society teacher. I really don't like teaching and I don't think I'm good at it but at least in relief society you only have about 30 minutes to teach after they get down with all the announcements and practice hymn and everything. And its only once a month.
And that investigator stood me up today. It must be frustrating to be a missionary and have that happen all the time.

Church Tour
Yesterday the missionaries called me up and said they were giving an investigator a Church Tour and wanted me to come with her. (I gave her a ride to the church) It was an interesting experience. What is a Church Tour? Exactly what it sounds like. We went to the church building and walked around. It was nice though. She now knows what the church looks like and what rooms she would go to and where her kid would go. They also stopped at pictures and pretty much did the 1st discussion while we walked. We all felt the spirit. It would have been better had the boy scouts not been there running around at the same time but oh well. She actually committed to be baptized so we shall see.

We are now....
Members of the Sequim Bay Ward.
There are now 3 wards in the small town of Sequim Washington. We had a combined meeting today at church. 1st ward got changed to Happy Valley, 2nd ward got changed to Dungeness and we are the new ward. I don't know why they just didn't call it 3rd ward. :) We got a new bishop and bishopric. I think I am really going to like our new bishop. He just got back from a couples mission to the West Indies. I really like the 2nd counselor too. A lot of my friends are in the new ward. I'm sad about a couple of people being in the other ward though. We are going at 1:00 still but at least that is only until the end of the year!
Claire has been super fussy today. She's been pulling on her ear so I'm going to call the doctor tomorrow. Or maybe she's just teething. I don't know.
My bread turned out FANTASTIC. It's healthy for you too since I ground up whole wheat. I also put in oats and some flaxseed. No more store bought bread for us! (well...maybe) :)

Hello Hello
Man, I'm behind! I had an awesome visit with my parents, grandparents, and friends. Unfortunately I forgot all the pictures my mom burned for me at their house. She is sending me all the stuff I forgot. (I can't leave ANYWHERE without forgetting something) I also forgot my camera cord so although I remembered my camera I can't get any of the pictures off. So as soon as I get the pictures I will post about my vacation. Claire did really well on the plane though. I recognized many "tender mercies" from the plane ride. Heavenly Father really blessed us.
Anyway, it's been a kinda rough week adjusting to being by myself again. I haven't really had the car all week because it is so cold in the morning Brian takes the car. He is putting a motor on his bike so he can be bundled up and not get sweaty pedaling. He is going to do that sometime this week so I will have the car soon!
Today was a great day though! Claire slept until 7 and then Brian got up with her. (thanks babe!) Then she took a nap at 8:30 and didn't get up until 11! We went and walked around the park and fed the ducks. Claire loved watching the ducks :) We ran some errands and then I cleaned around the house and made some bread. I haven't tried it yet but it looks and smells very yummy. Tomorrow we have a combined meeting with the 2nd ward. They are redoing the boundaries and making a 3rd ward. I was sad about that because some friends I really like are going to be in a different ward now. Oh well. At least Brian wont be getting any EQ callings or anything. Supposedly ours will be the biggest ward. I REALLY HOPE that we wont be the one going at 2. Eck. Or maybe I hope we are going at 2 for the rest of the year and then we will have 2 years before we go back to it.
Another thing that we have been doing is watching...

Its like a cowboy scifi. We love it. The characters are SO funny. There is one episode that is not so good....you see a few butts. You can watch it at hulu.com

The series is set in the year 2517, after humans have arrived at a new star system, and follows the adventures of the renegade crew of Serenity, a "Firefly-class" spaceship. The ensemble cast portrays the nine characters who live on Serenity. Whedon pitched the show as "nine people looking into the blackness of space and seeing nine different things".[4]
The show explores the lives of people who fought on the losing side of a civil war and now make a living on the outskirts of the society, as well as the pioneer culture that exists on the fringes of their star system. In addition, it is a future where the only two surviving superpowers, the United States and China, fused to form the central federal government, called the Alliance, resulting in the fusion of the two cultures as well. According to Whedon's vision, "nothing will change in the future: technology will advance, but we will still have the same political, moral, and ethical problems as today."----per wikipediaIts like a cowboy scifi.
